Andalusia and Morocco share a rich cultural heritage, the enhancement of which can generate business lines and synergies between the two shores. Aware of this opportunity for the future of development between the regions of the Strait of Gibraltar, the Three Cultures Foundation is organising the second edition of the Andalusia-North Morocco Cultural and Creative Industries Professional Meeting, which will take place on 27 and 28 May, as a complement to the meeting held in Tangiers last February.
This event, which is part of the activities that the Fundación Tres Culturas dedicates to the promotion of cultural diversity, closes the cycle of training in cultural management and development carried out in the last quarter of 2014 in seven cities in Andalusia and northern Morocco (Seville, Tangier, Almeria, Tetuan, Melilla, Granada and Nador) within the CUDEMA2 project, an initiative sponsored by the POCTEFEX programme and financed 75% with EU ERDF funds.
The meeting, which brings together cultural companies from both sides of the Atlantic, aims to create a working space to generate links between creative industries, fostering agreements, collaborations and new sustainable projects that can boost the regional economy.
Similarly, an analysis of the panorama of four strategic sectors in the field of cultural industries from a cross-border perspective will be addressed, with the aim of detecting future business lines, including the audiovisual sector, the performing arts, the publishing sector and the enhancement of historical heritage. The meeting will also include professional workshops that will address new trends and approaches to cultural management, from social networking, as well as business coaching associated with culture.
Admission will be free until full capacity is reached, subject to registration through the links provided in the programme of this meeting, which is attached in the following document.
