The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo is collaborating in the week on Senegal and Morocco that the Buenavista Public School in the San Jerónimo district of Seville is organising from 16 to 22 June 2014. Among the various activities that this centre is dedicating to the African continent, the Fundación Tres Culturas is showing the most up-to-date cartoons that young illustrators and comic professionals from Spain, the Maghreb and the Arab world are currently producing. Among the authors, it is worth highlighting the presence of the Andalusian José Luis Ágreda, with a refined style in flat inks; the Moroccan Hajjar Moussa, who is showing the work entitled Rebecca with a great contribution of freehand drawing and traditional techniques; Dina Sai, who reflects on the Arab Spring with clever humour and texts in English; and Hanan Al Karargy, who presents everyday scenes of young people and especially women in his country in Arabic.

This exhibition is part of the activities of the CREAMOS project (Programme of Artistic Creativity between Andalusia and Morocco with Social Objectives) which promotes cross-border cooperation between Andalusia and Morocco thanks to the Operational Programme for Cooperation between Spain and External Borders (POCTEFEX). 2008-2013
