The Fundación Tres Culturas, with the collaboration of Casa Árabe, the Real Instituto Elcano and the Obra Social de La Caixa will be analysing relations between Russia and the USA, and how these affect the Mediterranean, with the help of a group of the most prestigious international experts in geopolitics. This activity, which will be subsidised by the Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, forms part of the various activities carried out by the Secretary of State for the study, analysis and implementation of Spanish foreign policy.
The main objective of this international seminar is to study, through a critical and detailed analysis, the course that this historic dispute for world hegemony between the two powers could take, especially with the arrival of the Trump administration in power, and to see how it will affect the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean in general.
