Music, dance and activities to celebrate plurality in the heart of Seville

The next 4 Octoberthe Fundación Tres Culturas and the City Council of Seville celebrate the second edition of the festival 'Seville, Land of Diversity'. in the Los Perdigones Parkwith the collaboration of the Macarena District, a neighbourhood that is home to people of more than 40 nationalities.

The day will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a parade from the vicinity of the Andalusian Parliament to the park, accompanied by the women's musical show Jaleartewhich vindicates the role of women in music through percussion.

After the institutional inauguration, the didactic and participative show 'Journey to the world of dances'.The festival is aimed at children and young people, with dances from Indian, African, Flamenco, urban, oriental and Brazilian cultures. The festival will be followed by the performance of Sidy SambThe singer, composer and percussionist, originally from Senegal, will mix African rhythms, flamenco, reggae and soul, reviewing his musical career.

Throughout the morning, around twenty associations, NGOs and neighbourhood groups will have spaces to inform about their work and offer activities to the public, bringing the social and cultural diversity of Seville closer to them.

The 'Seville, Land of Diversity' Festival is a celebration of plurality and coexistence, a day full of music, dance and participation open to all.
