The Fundación Tres Culturas is collaborating in the organisation of the event. Men, employment and careorganised by the Cepaim Foundation in Seville and through the NEO programme, financed by the European Social Fund and co-financed by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.
This initiative, which promotes the compensation of gender inequalities and equal opportunities between women and men, is especially aimed at companies, public administrations, social intervention professionals, students and men's associations for equality.
The NEO Project, of which the conference is a part, is a profoundly innovative perspective, directly aimed at understanding reality and intervening in it based on empirical evidence, in order to compensate for gender inequalities, with men as allies and masculinity as the object of intervention, analysis and transformation.
NEO offers an expanded vision of what has been understood to date by the application of a gender perspective in projects of social interest, also incorporating men as a fundamental part of the system of gender relations.
Its objectives are to raise men's awareness of their role as agents of change to promote gender equality; to generate advocacy for men's involvement and the design of public policies; and to disseminate successful experiences of intervention with men from a transformative gender perspective.
