The Three Cultures Foundation collaborates with Codenaf in the celebration of the Conference Islam and Public Space, which will be held in Granada on 23 February.
Traditional analyses in terms of public policies have contributed to the understanding of the migration phenomenon in the different stages of the integration process. However, it is now necessary to redirect our gaze towards the public space in order to highlight the traditional dynamics of interaction between citizens of different religious denominations, lifestyles and cultural values.
Experts from different fields will debate the notion of public space as a central axis for studying and understanding certain forms of manifestation of Islam through the emergence of citizens of the Muslim faith as new social actors.
The conference will take place on Thursday 23 February from 16.30 to 20.30 at the Government Delegation of the Junta de Andalucía in Granada.
Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
