Once again, the Mediterranean Three Cultures Foundation commemorates the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust with several activities, including a talk-dialogue between secondary school students and Professor José Cruz, co-director of the Permanent University Seminar on Holocaust Studies and Anti-Semitism at Pablo de Olavide University.
At the end of the debate, the film will be shown The skies will open up for you, a film that describes the experiences of the Jewish community in the small Polish village of Stanislawów through the story of Malka Rosenthal. Malka, born in 1934, was the eldest daughter of a wealthy intellectual family. During the German occupation she managed to save her life hiding in a barrel underground for 18 months, although she lost her mother and her younger brother.
