The Three Cultures Foundation is participating in the conference on ‘Female Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue’, organised by the Association of Arab Women in Communication and the Press (AFACOM) and the Islamic Organisation for International Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) on 29 March at the Senate in Paris. «Woman as an Intercultural Mediator of Euromediterranean Dialogue” is the theme chosen for the annual conference of 2016.
The aim of the congress is to advance the idea that women should be central to the evolution of Mediterranean societies, fostering a new approach to North-South relations. Women have an important role to play in promoting inter-cultural dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
This involves conceiving of women as mediators of peace through education, politics, the economy, culture, and interfaith dialogue.
