The Fundación Tres Culturas, thanks to the collaboration of the publishing house Hoja de Lata and the Obra Social La Caixa, brings the representative of the best Sardinian tradition, Marcello Fois, to the Centro de Inserción Social Luis Jiménez de Asúa.
Fois opens with Estirpe the saga of the Chironi family, a humble family of blacksmiths who progress in Sardinia at the end of the 19th century and who fate is determined to wipe off the face of the earth, against the backdrop of the Great War and the arrival of fascism.
With this social aspect of the Tres con libros project, we demonstrate the effectiveness of reading as a rehabilitative element in environments with disadvantaged populations, such as prisons.
