In the framework of the project Andalusia, land of diversityThe Fundación Tres Culturas, in collaboration with the Cine Fértil association, is organising an exhibition of the LatinArab Festival in Seville, with the aim of highlighting the interest aroused by the meeting of filmmakers from different continents and their enriching visions from the different cultures they come from. A necessary commitment to intercultural dialogue through film.
The Latinarab Festival is the Latin American event of reference in South-South cultural and audiovisual cooperation that brings together Latin American and Arab cinematographies and industries in a unique setting on the continent, promoting the reunion between different peoples and their histories, with new questions and different perspectives for new challenges.
It is organised by 'Cine Fértil', a team specialised in the promotion and dissemination of Arab and Latin American cinema from Argentina to Latin America and the Caribbean, within the framework of regional programmes and strategies that promote cultural diversity. This year, the festival has been recognised by UNESCO with the Sharjah Prize for Cultural Diversity and promotion of Arab culture.
