The Fundación Tres Culturas organises, within the framework of the II Foro TRESMED, the concert of Lazywall in Malaga. This band was formed in 2003 in Reading, England, by the three Anegay brothers: Monz, Nao and Youssef, who chose classic rock as their main influence. The band later began to make a name for themselves and released their first EP 'Primal Tapes' in 2006, which was recorded in Chicago with Nirvana producer Steve Albini. After returning to Morocco, Lazywall released their first album 'Apoptosia' in 2009.
The group gained popularity both nationally and internationally and performed at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals; including SXSW in Austin (USA) and Garorock (France). In Morocco, they even participated three times in the 'Bulevard Festival'.
Lazywall combines their music with Arabic melodies and started using musical instruments such as Oud and Darbouka. In 2010, they became the first rock band to perform live on national television. Lazywall's discography consists of four albums: 'Apoptosia' (2009), 'Restart' (2010), 'Aporia's Bane' (2012) and 'Square Minds in Round Heads' (2015). Their fifth album, 'The Hundredth Monkey', was released in October 2017.
