With the aim of addressing the major debates of the current Mediterranean area, we are organising this cycle to reveal the multiple and complex field of cinema in relation to the media and in particular documentary film. In addition, we intend to draw attention to the different and current subjects covered.
We believe it is important to promote a reflection on the different processes that emanate from our environment and that deserve to be recounted and filmed in order to be understood, to create an opinion, to appeal to consciences and to place us in new realities.
The cycle includes topics such as the relations of neighbourhoods, the situation of women in different countries, citizens' movements, the Arab Spring, immigration and the history of Casablanca.
The screenings will take place at the Fondation des Trois Cultures (C/Max Planck, 2) at 20:30h, free entry depending on capacity.
