Mohamed Mouftakir, France, Morocco, 2014, 110 minutos.
Synopsis
During the early years of Hassan II's reign, Houcine, an admirer of the new king, leads a very popular orchestra. He lives with his wife Halima in the family home, a home full of life with original characters who intertwine to the rhythm of the orchestra and its traditional dancers, the Chikhates. The musicians of this rather special orchestra are forced to feign blindness in order to play at parties reserved for women in the most conservative families.
