Nahid is a young divorced woman living alone with her ten-year-old son in a northern Iranian city by the Caspian Sea. According to the rules of Iranian society, custody of a child belongs to the father, although in this case her ex-husband has given it to her on condition that she does not remarry. The relationship between Nahid and another man who loves her passionately and wants to marry her will complicate her situation as a woman and as a mother. (FILMAFFINITY)
