As in previous years, the Fundación Tres Culturas and the Fundación Triángulo Andalucía are collaborating in the staging of the Andalusian International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, Andalesgai.

The 'Tuesday Film' programme in December will show content on LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) human rights. The sessions will include a feature film, a documentary and a short film session.

Synopsis

Rana, a traditional woman and mother, is forced to drive a taxi to pay off her imprisoned husband's debts. Adineh (or Eddie) has run away from home to escape her complicated situation as a transsexual. The two end up sharing a ride and are forced to get to know each other better.

Aynehaye rooberoo is the first Iranian film with a transgender protagonist.

- Best Film Award at the Austin International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (USA) in 2012.

- Special Jury Mention at the 2011 Molodist International Film Festival in Ukraine.

- Winner of the Audience Award at the Paris Lesbian Film Festival in 2012.

- Award for Best First Film at the San Francisco International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (USA) in 2012.

- Capital Focus Award at the Washington DC Film Festival (USA) in 2012.
