The Fundación Tres Culturas, in the framework of the Alqantara programme, bridges for dialogue and coexistenceaims to address the major debates in today's Mediterranean area. It is therefore organising this cycle in order to disseminate the multiple and complex field of cinema related to the media and especially documentary film, supporting the TRES Med meeting, which will be held in Malaga from 1 to 3 June. The aim is also to draw attention to the diverse and topical themes covered.
Nowadays it is of utmost importance to promote a reflection on the various processes that originate around us, for this reason they need to be narrated and filmed, to be known, to create opinion, to call consciences and to situate us in new realities.
Family situations in conflicts, citizens' movements, immigration and the history of Casablanca are the themes of this cycle.

Synopsis
What do the Occupy Wall Street movement have in common with the indignados in Spain or the Arab Spring? Is there any connection between the Iranian democracy movement's struggle and the Syrian uprising? What is the link between Femen's topless Ukrainian activists and an Islamic culture like Egypt? And on top of all this, what do Serbia and Turkey have to do with each other?
Their motives for protest are different, but the non-violent tactics they use in their struggles are closely connected. So are the activists who share strategies, new ideas and established methods. Everyday Rebellion is a story about the richness of peaceful protest, represented every day by passionate people in Spain, Iran, Syria, Ukraine, the US, the UK and Serbia.
