The Fundación Tres Culturas, in the framework of the Alqantara programme, bridges for dialogue and coexistenceaims to address the major debates in today's Mediterranean area. It is therefore organising this cycle in order to disseminate the multiple and complex field of cinema related to the media and especially documentary film, supporting the TresMed meeting, which is being held in Malaga from 1 to 3 June. The aim is also to draw attention to the diverse and topical themes covered.
Nowadays it is of utmost importance to promote a reflection on the various processes that originate around us, for this reason they need to be narrated and filmed, to be known, to create opinion, to call consciences and to situate us in new realities.
Family situations in conflicts, citizens' movements, immigration and the history of Casablanca are the themes of this cycle.

Synopsis
A woman - an irregular immigrant - who works as a cleaner in a bakery in Jerusalem dies in a terrorist attack and no one claims her in the morgue. This event is used by the press to denounce the company's lack of humanity, which decides to launch an image-cleansing operation that involves sending the director of the Human Resources department to repatriate the body to her country of origin, a former Soviet republic.
