As part of the programme of activities to enjoy at home `Tres Culturas contigo', and replacing its traditional Tuesday Film Festival, the Foundation offers the screening of the documentary `Pasos perdidos', by José Antonio Torres (Spain, 2016, 52 minutes).
A story built on interviews that review the military history of the last 200 years in Spain, in which there have been progressive, liberal and enlightened soldiers who sought modernity, encountering the obstacle of the army itself, the monarchy and the church. A documentary about military democrats who fought for plural thinking, freedoms and a change in attitudes towards a democratic future and who in all cases met with death, exile or oblivion.
José Antonio Torres, director and scriptwriter of the documentary we are presenting today, holds a degree in Information Sciences, is a member of the Militia and Democracy Forum, director of the production company Plano Katharsis Producciones and has produced other works on this subject such as UMD: Breaking the Silence.
This documentary premiered at the Fundación Tres Culturas in May 2016. Today we are grateful that its director has selflessly contributed so that our public can get to know this magnificent work of research and memory.
