As every February, coinciding with the celebration of the Day of Andalusia, the Three Cultures Foundation presents its traditional Andalusian film season, showing some of the works awarded by the Andalusian Film Writers' Association -Asecan- in its 37th edition, as well as other unpublished works by Andalusian filmmakers.
On Tuesdays 4, 11, 18 and 25, we will screen fiction films, documentaries and short films that are just a small sample of the vast production that our filmmakers release each year on the screens.

Granada's gypsy neighbourhood has excited American, Swedish and French filmmakers, who have filmed its inhabitants and caves since the beginning of the 20th century. In 1963 impressive floods inundated the caves and streets, forcing their eviction and destroying hundreds of families, memories and lives, leaving a depopulated neighbourhood that is now being occupied by voracious tourism. The Zambra is a flamenco show that has almost disappeared and is based on the ritual of gypsy weddings. Each dance represents a part of that ceremony and through the recovery of these dances we will relive the legend of a neighbourhood marked by poverty whose inhabitants still exhibit the pride of belonging to a unique world.
