During the first fortnight of July, the Fundación Tres Culturas offers a special open-air cinema programme - in the Andalusian gardens surrounding its headquarters - dedicated to Mediterranean comedy.
Seven evenings for which we have selected a series of comedies that deal with important issues, but in a humorous way and from an ironic point of view that will show us how each filmmaker and each country has its own vision of everyday life.
Monday, 3 July, 22.00 h.
Feathers. Omar El Zohairy. Egypt, Greece, France, 2021, 112 min.
At a children's birthday party, a magician turns the child's overbearing father into a chicken. The family's problems begin when the magician is unable to reverse the transformation. The self-sacrificing mother must take matters into her own hands to bring her family up in a patriarchal society that will not make things easy for her. As she moves heaven and earth to bring back her husband and ensure their survival, the woman will undergo a total transformation.
Invitations available at THIS LINK from Friday 23 June at 12.00 noon.
