The Fundación Tres Culturas, in collaboration with the Andalusian Association of Women in Audiovisual Media, the Andalesgai Festival and the University of Seville, will show during the month of March a selection of films, shorts and documentaries that highlight the vision of women behind the camera, thus showing its support for Andalusian filmmakers as well as those from other lands and cultures, who do so much for the cinematographic panorama.

Seville, June 1984. Rita and Lolo are two siblings aged 7 and 5 who live in a simple working-class family. The summer holidays begin and the whole country is buzzing with the European Football Championship, where Spain has reached the quarter-finals. The heat is on and Rita dreams of going to the beach, but life in the neighbourhood has other surprises in store for her.
This feature film, with which actress Paz Vega makes her directorial debut, has won five of the Carmen awards: Best New Director (Paz Vega); Best New Female Actor (Paz de Alarcón); Best Production Management (Sandra Rodríguez and Javier Mateos); Best Original Score (Pablo Cervantes); and Best Sound (Daniel de Zayas and Jorge Marín).
The film will be presented in the presence of the actress Paz de Alarcón.
