In February, the Tres Culturas Foundation's film programme will feature a showcase of the most current Andalusian cinema.
Andalusian cinema is in vogue. The quantity and quality of Andalusian productions position it at a high level, with one in four nominations for the Goya Awards in the last edition being for cinema. Made in Andalucía, with titles such as The Infinite Trench, Bad Weather o Goodbye.
Its appearances at numerous festivals have earned recognition and awards for many films, documentaries, shorts, acting, cinematography, direction, costume design, sound, screenplays, etc., thanks to the work of great professionals and a sector that has demonstrated through its excellent performance that great heights can be reached.
Public and private impetus, a Film Law and a network of highly capable production companies and professionals have made possible a ‘film-friendly Andalusia’.
We congratulate our cinema and hope it continues to move forward in achieving the recognition and prestige it deserves.
