The Fundación Tres Culturas offers a sample of the most current Andalusian cinema in its Tuesday Cinema programme in February.

In the current Andalusian film scene, there is a dialogue between the avant-garde and tradition. An example of this is the 'Andalusian Panorama' section of the Seville Festival, which offered ten feature films and eighteen short films in its latest edition. These works have won multiple awards and critical acclaim and show the need of our filmmakers to tell the story of the different realities of and from Andalusia.

Cyben life. Vanesa Benítez. Spain, 2021, 80 min.

"Paco Foto", accidental paparazzi of tourists and celebrities, begins an episodic and surreal journey through the happy moments that have marked his life since the day he arrived on the recently inaugurated "Costa del Sol". But today, that paradise in the south of Spain, praised by artists and Franco's propaganda, has become a non-place where the photographer seeks to relive memories buried in a sea of concrete buildings, chasing Ava Gardner among the mask-wearing holidaymakers, trying to make sense of all the meaninglessness of living his last summer.

Invitations at THIS LINK from 12 noon on Wednesday 16 February.

Activity carried out with the funding of the Seville City Council within the framework of the programme Seville, land of diversity
