Synopsis:
Film about the Jewish community in Stanislawow, through the story of Malka Rosenthal, the eldest daughter of a family of wealthy intellectuals who lost her mother and younger brother during the German occupation. Her father joined the partisans and Malka was handed over to a Polish family. For 18 months, she was kept hidden in a barrel underground.
