For yet another year, the Fundación Tres Culturas is dedicating its March film programme to the work of women filmmakers, as part of the celebration of International Women's Day on the 8th of this month.
The presence of women in all fields of international audiovisual creation, especially in directing, is increasing, offering us a feminine vision of a multitude of themes and contents that attract the attention of festivals and audiences.

Mammals. Sandra D. Siachoque. Spain, 2020, 72 min.
Mamíferas explains how the bodies and brains of mothers and babies work through women who talk about their births and experts who know about female physiology and the basic needs of babies at birth. The documentary talks about birth from a kaleidoscope of perspectives: mothers, midwives, obstetricians, paediatricians, biologists, physiotherapists, nurses, doulas, neonatologists, veterinarians, therapists, endocrinologists, psychologists and breastfeeding experts, connecting us with our nature and twinning us with the rest of mammals.
