The Fundación Tres Culturas offers in its Tuesday Cinema programme in March a sample of Mediterranean women's cinema through the views of a heterogeneous cast of female directors who are trying to make their way on the film scene.
In the works they present, they deal creatively and innovatively with small everyday actions, their struggles and their dreams. They offer us a feminine vision of the worlds that each one of them travels through their cameras and their stories. These women filmmakers, who involve the viewer in their reflections, their landscapes and their fears, are renewing the Mediterranean film scene.

Maryam es una joven y ambiciosa médica que trabaja en una pequeña ciudad de Arabia Saudí. A pesar de su alta cualificación, debe ganarse a diario el respeto de sus compañeros y la aceptación de los pacientes. Indignada por la dejadez del ayuntamiento, que demora una y otra vez asfaltar el camino de acceso al hospital, decide presentar su candidatura a las elecciones municipales.
