The Fundación Tres Culturas, in the framework of its European project INTREPIDA plusThe October screenings are dedicated to the work of several Portuguese female directors. Established creators or young filmmakers who, through their films, offer a feminine vision of Portuguese cinema, and with which we can get to know and appreciate a little more of the recognisable flavour of the culture of the neighbouring country.

Snu Abecassis is a Danish publisher whose affair with Portuguese politician and prime minister Francisco de Sá Carneiro shocked post-revolutionary Portugal. The couple died in December 1980 in a plane crash, the details of which remain murky and controversial almost 40 years later.
