The Fundación Tres Culturas, in the framework of its European project INTREPIDA plusThe October screenings are dedicated to the work of several Portuguese female directors. Established creators or young filmmakers who, through their films, offer a feminine vision of Portuguese cinema, and with which we can get to know and appreciate a little more of the recognisable flavour of the culture of the neighbouring country.

On the banks of the Tagus River in Portugal, a man lives between the tranquillity of the river and the personal relationships that bind him to the land. Filmed throughout the four seasons, 'Terra franca' portrays the life of Portuguese fisherman Albertino Lobo, surrounded by his wife Dalia and his daughters, among whom the eldest is about to get married.
