Session 3: The influencers of Arab music
Mediterráneo Sonoro: Músicas del Magreb y Oriente Próximo' was created with the aim of focusing on these musics (especially those from the southern shore of the Mediterranean and more specifically the Arab world) with the intention of returning them to a more pre-eminent place, and thereby encouraging closer contact with the culture in which they are produced, so that our public - beyond specialists or musicians - has a gateway to access them.
The third illustrated conference in the series (the first to be held in Granada, following two sessions at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas in Seville) will take place on next 29th April, Tuesday, from 18h onwardsat the headquarters of the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies (C/ San Jerónimo, 27).
