The Fundación Tres Culturas is organising, within the framework of the Seville Book Fair, the presentation of the book Mother of milk and honey (Destino), the latest book by the Moroccan author Najat El Hachmi, who lives in Catalonia, on 8 May at 20:00 at Espacio La Red (Seville Book Fair).
El Hachmi, who made his name ten years ago after winning the Ramon Llull prize with The last patriarchcompletes with this story the emotional conflict and the complex cultural, social and personal reality that comes with being an immigrant mother, thus closing a trilogy that also includes her earlier work The foreign daughter.
She will talk to journalist Ángela Cañal about all this and the creative process.
