The Night of Ideas 2021 is an initiative of the French Institute, co-organised in Seville with the Three Cultures Foundation and the Institute of Culture and the Arts of Seville - ICAS, which will take place virtually on 28 January at 12.30 pm.
A dialogue between the two sides of the Pyrenees which this year has taken as its inspiration the concept of the tree - at the proposal of the French Institute in Paris, CERCANO(S). Its multiple identity, its cross-border dimension from a historical, traditional and poetic perspective will be the inspiration for the different interventions of nationally and internationally recognised experts, such as the French biologist and botanist Francis Hallé, the naturalist and writer Ignacio Abella Mina, the architect specialising in urban planning and landscape María Salas Mendoza Muro and the gardener Tamara Velasco García.
This virtual meeting will be moderated by the engineer and landscape designer Mar Verdejo Coto and can be followed from 12.30 p.m. on Thursday 28 January on the French Institute's YoutuveLive (in this link) and the social networks of the Fundación Tres Culturas and the Instituto de la Cultura y de las Artes de Sevilla - ICAS.
