Oum presents its latest album at the Fondation des Trois Cultures

In the framework of the activities planned for the Month of Morocco, the singer Oum, one of the main ambassadrice of current Moroccan music, presents her latest work entitled Daba.

Oum is considered to be one of the most universal female voices on the Moroccan music scene and is part of this generation of eclectic singers who have a wide range of styles, without forgetting their roots.

Conceived in Casablanca, designed in Paris and recorded in Berlin, the third album of Oum Daba ("Maintenant" in Arabic) is a reflection of the experience of an artist who considers herself Moroccan, but first and foremost a woman of the world. DabaThe report is an urgent reminder to act on certain fundamental questions: the endangered nature, the fate of migrants, the status of women, but also an exhortation to live fully in the present.
