On the occasion of the celebration of Andalusia Day, the Fundación Tres Culturas hosts this show by the guitarist Paco Soto, a renowned artist who manages to build bridges between Arab and Western musical traditions through his flamenco guitar, which is also closely linked to the harmonic influences of jazz.
Soto released his first album, `Vida', in February 2017. A fresh album composed entirely by this young artist, in which masters such as Jorge Pardo or Guadiana collaborated, as well as other promising young artists such as Sandra Carrasco. A flamenco guitar album with nods to Andalusian music, jazz and classical music.
He won the Alcobendas `Jóvenes Talentos' Award for best guitarist in 2018 and the AIE's `Flamenco en Ruta' 2019. He has his own group, Paco Soto Sextet, with which he has performed in cities such as New York, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam and Brussels, in emblematic venues such as the Cervantes Institute in New York and the Kölner Philharmonic, where he headlined alongside artists such as Diego el Cigala.
During his career he has collaborated with flamenco and jazz artists such as José Soto `Sorderita', Montse Cortés, Jorge Pardo, Josemi Carmona, Antonio Canales, Javier Colina, Chano Dominguez, Guadiana, Juan José Suárez `Paquete', Los Chunguitos, Piraña, Sandra Carrasco, Pablo Martín Caminero, Juanito Makandé, Kiki Morente, Juan Habichuela and many more.
