The Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) in Andalusia, together with the Directorate General for Migration Policies and the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations Department, with the collaboration of the Three Cultures Foundation, are organising the Andalucine Juvenil Cear gala on 29 May.
This competition aims to encourage creativity among young Andalusians through the use of new technologies and also to involve the educational system and civil associations to participate, serving as a catalyst to involve the younger society in the development of ideas against racism, xenophobia and homophobia.
It is a day of conviviality and awareness-raising in which all the schools that have submitted their work take part. After viewing all the short films, a jury made up of personalities will award the best ones, which will also be able to compete in the Plural+ festival in New York, a United Nations competition to be held in November.
The event takes place from 9.00 a.m. at FIBES, Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla.
