The Fundación Tres Culturas hosts the presentation of the poetry anthology Arriving in the baywhich contains poems in Arabic, Spanish, Catalan, Dariya and English, written by thirty-six poets of different nationalities.
This is the title of the collection of poems from the VIII Encuentro de poesía hispano-marroquí, held in Tetuan last year, with contributions from Moroccan, Spanish and Latin American poets.
On the initiative of Ahmed Mgara Mgara and other Moroccan and Spanish (mainly Andalusian) poets, this twinning of peoples and languages, presented for the first time at the Fundación Tres Culturas in March 2018, is being held in Tetouan.
The presentation table will be chaired by Ahmed Magara, president of the Mgara Rebahi Foundation of Tetouan, who will be accompanied by Inmaculada Calderón, coordinator from Seville of the meetings in Tetouan and owner of the publishing house. The books of UmsalouaJuan Martínez, representative of Noches del Baratillo; and the poet Laaziza Chemcham.
The event includes a reading of Chemcham's new collection of poems, written in Arabic and translated into Spanish by Ahmed Mgara.
The meeting will be enlivened by the music and poems of Juan José Cibaja, poet and singer-songwriter from Algeciras, the musical soul of all the meetings in Tetouan.
