The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation and the Faculty of Communication of the University of Seville will present the Map of Mediterranean Communication on Monday 13 March at 12.00h. in the Faculty of Communication's lecture hall. This is a research study carried out at the proposal of the Foundation and headed by Manuel Campo Vidal, which gathers information from written, digital, radio and television media from more than 850 media outlets and offers a global vision of the situation of the press in the countries bordering the Mediterranean.
For the elaboration of this study, a team of professionals of different nationalities has worked for four months collecting information to elaborate this research that gathers data from 22 countries bordering the Mediterranean as well as the Principality of Monaco and the Vatican. Of the total number of countries bordering the Mediterranean, more than 100 cities have been selected, which represents a very important sample for the evaluation of communication and media management in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The presentation by the president of the Spanish Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is part of the conference 'The truth and post-truth of the Mediterranean in the Trump era', included in the 'Cycle of Colloquiums at FCom with media professionals' organised by the university institution.
