As every year since 2017, the Fundación Tres Culturas joins in the celebration of Ramadan, the holy month for millions of Muslims around the world, through a series of activities dedicated to this festival. On this occasion we are forced to do it in a different way than in previous editions, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
In this context, and within the framework of the activities of the Three Cultures With You programme, the Foundation offers the conference 'Ramadan memories in the medina of Fez', given by the professor Ahmed Elmoustaghite, from Sidi Mohamed ben Abdellah University in Fez.
This activity, organised in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute in Fez, highlights the spiritual immersion experienced by the Fesi population of Fesi during the holy month of Ramadan, revealing some revealing aspects of the religious rites and practices of all kinds, which are also linked to gastronomy, clothing, leisure, etc., and which make the medina of Fes a hive of life and activity.
