Within the framework of the programme 'Alqantara: bridges for dialogue and coexistence' that the Fundación Tres Culturas has been developing in collaboration with the Ministry Delegate for Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs, the Al Founoune Theatre Company will perform its new play in Seville and Torremolinos (Malaga) on 24 and 25 November respectively. This is an opportunity for all audiences, especially Moroccans, to enjoy a comic play that will be performed entirely in Moroccan dialect.
An important cast of Moroccan actors, directed by Anouar El Joundi, will be in charge of performing his new play with the primary objective of promoting dialogue between cultures and introducing new generations to the national cultural identity in order to strengthen ties between the two shores.
This new comedy tells the story of Mouhja, a young woman who has just graduated from the Brussels School of Fine Arts, who decides to return to her native Morocco to begin her artistic career and to realise her dream: to become a great painter of international renown and to be able to exhibit her work all over the world.
