The Portuguese photographer and graphic designer Sara Monteiro Pais de Melo, known as Sara Meli Melo, is enjoying one of the artistic residencies offered by the Fundación Tres Culturas as part of the CARPET project during the month of March.
Sara Meli Melo has a degree in design and audiovisual communication, a postgraduate degree in image and communication and is currently studying photography at CEARTE, at its headquarters in Coimbra.
Her passion for photography leads her to actively document everything that captivates her gaze, as a way of challenge, adaptation and continuous learning. During her artistic residency in Seville, she dedicates herself to spreading her knowledge of photographic composition through workshops in which she also promotes creativity by using the usual tools, such as a smartphone.
In the same way, and also as part of his personal project, he is in charge of documenting the artistic residency, the creative process of the other participants and their projects and results. All of this can eventually be turned into an Instagram page that serves as a repository of the documentary material collected.
