Tagine, a story in the kitchen

Details

The Fundación Tres Culturas invites you to learn more about the cuisine and culture of Morocco in a gastronomic monologue.

The Fundación Tres Culturas invites us to deepen our knowledge of Morocco through an original gastronomic monologue starring the actress and director Farah Hamed in a production by Zaurah productions.

After having played at festivals such as FRINGE13 and stages such as Matadero de Madrid, Tagine comes to Seville as part of the project We love Morocco. The protagonist of the play Tagine is the character of Amal, a Moroccan cook who will teach us her grandmother's recipe for a Tagine from her restaurant called Mediterranean, as he tells us personal stories, experiences and anecdotes and ends by inviting us to try the dish he will be cooking, a Moroccan tagine. A recipe and spices will be given to all attendees.

Farah Hamed: Actress and director. Nominated for a Goya for best newcomer actress in 2009 for her role in the film Return to Hansala (Chus Gutiérrez).

Zaurah productions: Based in Granada, it contributes with various events and actions to social change in favour of human rights and peaceful coexistence between cultures.
