The Flying CARPET action offers several workshops throughout the month of October. In order to offer this opportunity to the maximum number of people, it is appreciated that each person selects only one workshop, thus leaving the possibility to other participants, unless all the places are not filled.

PACO BROCA (Seville, 1961)

He began at the School of Applied Arts in Seville, specialising in design and stone carving, continuing at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Seville, painting, although he defines himself as self-taught. A restless spirit and tireless worker, his work presents fresh and spontaneous paintings, of great expressive force with oils and gouaches of intense reds and poetic blues.

Landscape is the central theme of his work through works inspired by the Real Alcázar of Seville, the Guadalquivir River, Morocco and the volcanoes of Etna. These paintings were brought together in his latest exhibition elpaisaje.com. Another of his exhibitions, El Vidrio o el Misterio de la Trinidad, recreated the interior of this glass factory and his works made an interesting parallelism between the factory and his vision of creation in art.

First Prize at the International Biennial of Mediterranean Artists in Rijeka (Croatia). His work is present in private collections and museums, such as the Museum Les Vendimieres (Montpellier) France, Museum of Modern Art in Rijeka, Croatia, Focus collection, Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires in Paris, among others. Teacher of landscape painting from life.
