On 15 February 2016, the Fundación Tres Culturas and Casa Árabe signed a framework collaboration agreement, whose objectives include carrying out joint projects to promote greater knowledge of the Arab-Islamic legacy in Spain, especially those focused on the prevention of Islamophobia and the enhancement of Andalusian cultural heritage.

This agreement is part of the joint strategy of Tres Culturas and Casa Árabe (which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year) to gain in efficiency and impact with initiatives to bring the Arab reality closer to Andalusia. This shared interest has been expressed in the series of conferences Great Capitals of the Medieval Islamic World: Past and Presentwhich both institutions will develop in 2016 in the cities of Seville, Cordoba and Madrid.
