The Fudación Tres Culturas and the Asociación Periferias. Plataforma de Cultura y Sociedad have signed a framework collaboration agreement with the aim of "developing activities and initiatives that contribute to the encounter between East and West, especially between America, Europe, the Middle East and Arab countries in general, and that help to achieve a reality and an international order based on human progress, favouring a strategy whose aim is coexistence, economic and technological progress and social development, promoting, in short, dialogue between civilisations and cultures based on recognition and mutual respect", as stated in the aforementioned document.

To this end, they will work on joint projects that help to promote values of tolerance and respect for diversity among Andalusian citizens, through the design of specific educational and reading promotion programmes developed in the facilities of both entities. This was agreed by the director of Tres ulturas, José Manuel Cervera, and the director of the Periferias Association, Guillermo Duclos Bautista, shown in the image during the signing of the agreement.

This document is in addition to other important agreements recently signed with entities such as the Agency for the promotion and development of the provinces of northern Morocco, which will promote activities to help strengthen the historical, social and economic ties between the societies of Andalusia and northern Morocco.

Thus, among the points included in this text is the organisation of economic promotion conferences between Andalusian and Moroccan businessmen from the north to encourage commercial exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
