The Fundación Tres Culturas is organising a kaftan fashion show with models from the new collection of the Tetuan designer Mohamed Larbi Azzouz, better known as Romeo, who has already brought his creations to this institution on previous occasions with notable success.
This parade, which will take place in the Foundation's Central Courtyard, has an added attraction, as the dome that crowns this room will be opened to let in the moonlight, as was the case in some of the night-time events scheduled during the 1992 Universal Exposition, for which the building was conceived as the Moroccan Pavilion.
It will be in this exceptional setting that some 20 designs by Romeo, considered one of the most renowned designers in his country today, will be exhibited, following his successful participation in a fashion competition on the Lebanese television channel LBC. Born in Tetouan in 1978, this stylist likes to combine fantasy, femininity and elegance in his proposals, through which he offers a modern vision of the Moroccan woman without renouncing her origins. All enlivened by the music of Iman Kandoussi (voice and percussion) and Juanma Rubio (ud and santur).
The event will serve as the closing event of this year's activities at Tres Culturas, just before the arrival of August, a month in which the Foundation's facilities are closed from the 1st to the 16th.
