From 4 to 6 November at the Provincial Public Library of Cadiz, the Caballero Bonald Foundation, the Ateneo de Jerez de la Frontera and the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the University of Cadiz.
The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation and the Ministry in Charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad, within the framework of the Morocco in Spain 2013 Project and the Andalusian Centre of Letters are organising the Spanish-Moroccan Literary Encounter. Visita de la Casa de la Poesía de Marruecos a Cádiz, which will take place from 4 to 6 November 2013 at the Provincial Public Library of Cádiz, the Caballero Bonald Foundation, the Ateneo de Jerez de la Frontera and the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Cádiz.
The meeting will focus on poetry and will bring together a large group of Moroccan poets, members of the Casa de la Poesía de Marruecos, and poets from Cadiz. With the common aim of deepening relations between Spain and Morocco, and bringing the reader closer to the intellectual production (poetry, narrative and thought) of both countries.
The audience will have the opportunity to hear these poets reciting the poems they have composed in their respective languages, Spanish and Arabic.
With the collaboration of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz, La Casa de la Poesía en Marruecos, the University of Cadiz, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Caballero Bonald Foundation and the Ateneo de Jerez de la Frontera.
