The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation participates in this edition of the African Film Festival 2016 with the closing concert, for the organisation of which it is sponsored by the Ministry in charge of Moroccan Communities Residing Abroad and Migration Affairs in the framework of the programme 'Alqantara: bridges for dialogue and coexistence'.
The African Film Festival (FCAT) returns to Tarifa this year and makes the leap to Morocco for its thirteenth edition.
After a break of four editions in Cordoba, the FCAT will unite the two shores of the Strait of Gibraltar, Tarifa (Cadiz) and Tangiers (Morocco), as a stage for intercultural dialogue and cross-border exchange.
The festival, fully consolidated as a reference event for African cinematographies, will be held simultaneously in both cities from 26 May to 4 June.

Closing concert
Organised by the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo, it will feature a performance by the group Ganga Vibes, a group that is part of the Moroccan reggae-rock movement, being the first group in the neighbouring country dedicated to a universal music such as reggae and its derivatives (ska, punk, dub, dancehall, etc.).
Ganga Vibes is today the image of a Morocco in transformation and a generation of more expressive artists, through committed texts.
