The Fundación Tres Culturas will host the First Hispanic-Arab Inter-University Meeting, HISARA, on 17 and 18 May. This meeting is organised by the company Ambar Connect (Expohalal 2015), with the collaboration of the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and Casa Árabe.
For the first time in Spain, HISARA will bring together institutions, faculties, business schools, professionals and companies to analyse strategic issues for the future of universities, such as: encouraging the development of international training programmes, generating collaboration agreements to promote the mobility of researchers, teachers and students, the university-business relationship and the promotion of the Arabic and Spanish languages.
In the words of Carolina de Funes, CEO of Ambar Connect: "The aim of this meeting is to create a platform that serves as a meeting place and understanding of the business and education sectors, for the creation of the Spanish-Arab space for knowledge and transfer".
