On 17 September, at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas, the II Jornadas CaixaProinfancia Contra la Pobreza will be held, this year entitled Child Welfare Scenarios. This meeting is organised by EAPN-A together with the other organisations coordinating the CaixaProinfancia Programme in Seville (Save the Children, Radio Ecca and Entre Amigos).

EAPN-Andalusia, the Andalusian Network against Poverty and Social Exclusion, was created in 1994 as a network of social entities involved in the fight for the social inclusion of people suffering from poverty and social exclusion. It is made up of 47 Andalusian social entities, all of them non-profit and with a common objective: social inclusion.

Attendance at the conference is subject to prior registration on the EAPN-A website. The event will be attended by Javier Urra, one of the leading figures in forensic psychology in Spain, as well as participants from the CaixaProinfancia Programme, among others.

The CaixaProinfancia Programme is aimed at children in situations of poverty and social exclusion, with an emphasis on improving equity, social cohesion and equal opportunities for children and their families. These are assisted by contributing to improving family income by facilitating access to basic goods: food, hygiene products, school equipment, glasses and hearing aids as a complement to services, educational reinforcement, non-formal education and leisure time, family educational support, psychosocial care and therapy and health promotion.
