For the third year, the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo is organising one of the parallel activities of the 28th edition of the Festival del Sur-Encuentro Teatral Tres Continentes, which will take place in Agüimes (Gran Canaria) from 14 to 18 October 2015 and is considered a meeting place for the cultures of Africa, America and Europe, a place for knowledge, dialogue and artistic and human exchange.

Tres Culturas is organising on Friday 16 October at 10.00 a.m. a talk-colloquium entitled A world in conflict: from Africa to the Middle EastThe main objective of the event is to bring the keys to the complex reality of the Arab world today closer to the future generation. For this purpose, the lecturer and director of the Department of Arab and Islamic Studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a profound knowledge of Arab societies, Waleed Saleh (Iraq) and the research economist and director of the African Forum for Alternatives, Moussa Demba Dembele (Senegal), will speak at the event.

The experience will be repeated in different high schools in Seville next January 2016.
