On May 19th, our screening room will be dressed up to host the celebration of the annual gala of the 19th edition of the #Comcorto Festival, where the short films and documentaries of the students of the Faculty of Communication of the University of Seville will be awarded.
The festival, organised by graduates and professionals of the sector, which has counted with the participation of students from other Andalusian Public Universities, has been directed by Cristina Carreras, co-directed until last year by Evangelina Las Heras.
The AVA Foundation, the Centro de Iniciativas Culturales de la US; the Fundación Tres Culturas and some companies such as Provídeo-Sony, sponsor this event which, year after year, gains relevance in the festival sector in Seville and Andalusia.
As every year, RTVA will award the Prize for the best Andalusian creation, to the best short film or documentary presented at this year's festival.
The Festival has a prestigious jury, made up of a member of RTVA, Diego Bermúdez, Amanda R. Melguizo, Ana Rosa Diego, Paco Baños and the executive producer of the new Canal Sur fiction, Gervasio Iglesias.
